Ethereal BodyLabs (“we”, “us”) operates the Ethereal BodyLabs app — this website, the installable web app and the iOS app. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we hold it, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who creates an account.
Your account details (name, email address and a securely hashed password), your profile (training goals, experience level and body metrics), and the records you create in the app: workouts and sets, nutrition and macro entries, body measurements, progress photos, bloodwork results and supplement or dose logs.
When you use voice logging, your speech is processed to produce the text you asked to log.
Bloodwork, body composition, progress photos, dose logs and similar records are sensitive health information. We handle them only to provide the service to you — to display your own data back to you and to generate the coaching and progress summaries you ask for. We do not use your health information for advertising.
When you use the app we receive technical information needed to run it: device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, the pages you open, and error reports. We store a session token on your device so you stay signed in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Alice’s coaching is produced by AI models from the information you have logged, together with the message you send her. Relevant records and your coaching dossier are included in that request so the answer reflects your training, nutrition and progress. AI processing is carried out by our platform provider under our agreement with them. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data is encrypted in transit, access is scoped to your own account by database access rules, and administrative access is restricted. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information we will notify you and any regulator as the law requires.
We keep your records while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account, which removes your account and the records attached to it. Limited information may remain briefly in backups, and billing records may be kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Most of this you can do yourself in the app. If you are in Australia you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Contact us first — we will try to resolve it.
Our platform, payment and AI providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on our agreements with those providers to protect the information.
The app is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
